I am so glad you are here! My name is Aalia, and I run Purple Bow Photography. I am a Calgary newborn photographer. I know how choosing a local professional newborn photographer can be a daunting task when you have so many options around you. So, I want to make the process as easy as possible which is my packages come with digital images and are yours to keep. Your children will grow up so quickly, right in front of you, without you even realizing, so I am a true advocate for capturing all stages of their life, especially the delicate baby stage. My newborn photography style is delicate, classic and posed. I favour earthy tones, with pops of colour in my props and I’ve worked hard to hone in on my style.

I also offer maternity and family photography services. My maternity photography style is relaxed, casual and candid. Your pregnancy is a time that should be remembered and cherished and what better way than to have a professional Calgary maternity photographer capture it!

My family photography package is offered outdoors and know that I’ll strive to get you a bit of everything - how your daughter comes in to hug you, how your son loves to be thrown up into the air; those toothless smiles and innocent looks, and of course, a few posed portraits too! I always encourage parents to take part in these sessions - we are so often ignored or forgotten - one day our kids will turn around and ask us why we aren’t in any of the photos.
